Did you use, and pay for, electricity during part or all of the refund period (January 1, 2007, to August 31, 2013), but you no longer have an active account with us today? If yes, then you are a former customer entitled to an RSP Refund. Don’t miss out, the final date to apply is Friday, September 28, 2018. RSP Refund cheques were automatically issued to customers with an active electricity account beginning February 2017. There was no application required. Cheques were issued in the name of the primary account holder (name listed on the Newfoundland Power account). The refund cheque covered the total amount owed for all eligible accounts: account(s) that are currently active and as well as those that were active during the refund period but are no longer active today.
